The Ox Marathon
Travelled to Wiltshire 24th May for the Ox off road marathon. It was probably a mistake to join the Club interval session on Tuesday, run the RR10 on Wednesday, the Club 4 mile Time Trial on Thursday (28:49), The QE Park run on Saturday (22:55) then drive to Wiltshire, Rushmore Estate, Camp overnight in Murv and run the Ox Marathon on Sunday (27.3 miles in 4:55:12 over a beatiful hilly Course); still I was only treating it as a training run and I will have to run on successive days at the UTMR August and the Training Camp in July ..

Having a Walk Break
The Organisers had a sense of humour this was a mile long hill at 24 miles then you ran past the Finish, an extra 1.5 miles on top of the usual 26.2 then 2 more hills - still very enjoyable and ..
a nice medal - not sure about the pink ribbon though ..
